    PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug 4, 2022) – Fireman Lance Dalton secures a cylinder cover on a marine diesel engine in a main machinery room aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), August 4. Sailors perform scheduled maintenance on shipboard equipment to prolong the ship’s life and serviceability. John P. Murtha, part of amphibious squadron (CPR) SEVEN, along with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is currently underway conducting integrated training in U.S. 3rd Fleet to prepare for an upcoming deployment.
