Navy Diver 2nd Class Jason Geissler, assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 2, Company 4, operates a suction dredge system during an underwater recovery operation in search of a missing service member. The divers are working with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) who conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify missing Americans from past conflicts. MDSU 2-4 and JPAC are embarked on board the USNS Grapple (T-ARS-53). The U.S. Navy is reliable, flexible, and ready to respond worldwide on, above, and below the sea.
