U.S. Marine Corps Body Bearers assigned to Marine Barracks Washington, D.C., support a full honors funeral for Medal of Honor recipient Pfc. Robert E. Simanek at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan, on Aug. 12, 2022. Simanek displayed extreme courage and unselfishness on a patrol during the Korean War as he threw himself on top of a grenade to save his fellow Marines from serious injury or even death.
