    127th Wing

Airman 1st Class Michael Ritter applies lubricant to an O-ring while Staff Sgt. Joshua Fye observes his work at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, Aug. 14, 2022. Both Airmen are assigned to the 191st Maintenance Squadron, a component of the 127th Wing, which is assigned to the base. The 191st maintains the KC-135 Stratotanker, an air-to-air refueling aircraft flown at the base by the 171st Air Refueling Squadron. Ritter is a traditional member of the Michigan Air National Guard, generally serving about one weekend per month and several weeks of active duty during the year. Ritter has been a member of the wing for about a year and completed his initial technical school training, to become an aircraft hydraulics mechanic, earlier this year. In his civilian job, he works in building construction. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Dan Heaton)
