Petty Officer 2nd Class Alex Evans takes an x-ray of Tech. Sgt. James Myatt at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, August 13, 2022. Evans is a Navy Reservist with the 4th Dental Battalion. The dental unit, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia, traveled to Michigan to support Army National Guard Soldiers participating in exercise Northern Strike at Camp Grayling Maneuver Training Center. The dental team traveled to Selfridge to provide support to the Airmen of the 127th Wing during the Wing’s regularly scheduled drill, providing exams to more than 120 Airmen. In his civilian occupation, bio-medical technician, responsible for the maintenance of medical equipment. He said he enjoys serving as a corpsman with the Navy Reserve, as it gives him a chance to provide patient care. Myatt is a member of the 127th Security Forces Squadron at Selfridge.
