A U.S. Marine with Battalion Landing Team 2/5, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, sets security during a Defense of the Amphibious Task Force drill aboard USS New Orleans (LPD 18) in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 9, 2022. DATF is a task force designed to defend naval ships from water and airborne threats while transiting open waters.
