Primeiro-Sargento Brito Monteiro of the Cabo Verdean Armed Forces shoots his pistol to loc-back during the 2022 Combat Marksmanship Match on July 27, 2022, at Fort Devens, Mass. Four Cabo Verdean marksmen competed in the annual "TAG Match," a four-day event comprising various pistol, rifle and shotgun events. Cabo Verde and New Hampshire are paired through the State Partnership Program, a Department of Defense National Guard Bureau program that links state National Guards and foreign countries to facilitate military, government and civilian exchanges. The same program teamed the Granite State with El Salvador in 2000. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt. Charles Johnston)
