U.S. Marine Corps ordnance technicians with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, load ordnance onto an AH-1Z Viper in preparation for a simulated tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel (TRAP) mission in Bradley, California, Aug 2, 2022. MAG-39 demonstrated their TRAP capabilities in support of exercise Summer Fury 22. Summer Fury 22 is designed to enhance Marine-Air-Ground Task Force integration and increase aviation operations proficiency with realistic, relevant training to ensure the Marine Corps’ largest aircraft wing remains operationally excellent, interoperable, deployable on short notice and lethal when called into action.
