Brig. Gen. Virginia Gaglio, Commander and Chief of Staff, Massachusetts Air National Guard joins CAP Cadet Colonels Leah Vigevani and Sarah Vigevani, during a presentation ceremony on Aug. 1, 2022. The ceremony was unique in that these cadets are sisters, simultaneously winning the coveted Spaatz Award. The Spaatz Award is the Civil Air Patrol's highest cadet honor and presented to cadets who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, character, fitness, and aerospace education. The event was held during the CAP's Massachusetts Wing annual encampment which is being held during the first week of August.
