An M1A2 Sep v2 Abrams tank from 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division is unloaded from an M 1070 Heavy Equipment Transporter from Charlie Company, 87th Division Sustainment Support Battalion, 3rd Division Sustainment Brigade, 3rd ID, at the Rail Marshaling Area on Fort Stewart, Georgia, July 28. The tanks will return to depot level maintenance for upgrades to the new M1A2 Sep v3 before being returned to U.S. Army units as part of the Army's ongoing armor modernization program.
