The 31st Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal robot approaches a suspicious package as members of the 31st EOD team watch during an exercise at Aviano Air Base, Italy, July 21, 2022. The robot enables EOD to observe and disarm explosives from a safe distance. Through a joint effort hosted at the post office, emergency first response units were able to execute training and practice in order to maintain the safety of Aviano AB and its members.
