The Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Tezanos is on-scene with a makeshift vessel interdicted July 28, 2022 in international waters north of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Nineteen Dominicans, 18 men and a woman, who were taking part in this illegal voyage were repatriated to a Dominican Republic Navy vessel July 29, 2022 along with 17 other Dominicans from a separate interdiction.
