The Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Tezanos is on-scene with a makeshift vessel interdicted July 28, 2022 off the northwest coast of Puerto Rico. Seventeen Dominicans, 15 male and 2 females including two minors, who were taking part in this illegal voyage were repatriated to a Dominican Republic Navy vessel July 29, 2022 along with 19 other Dominicans from a separate interdiction.
