U.S. Air Force Col. Douglas Stouffer, 512th Airlift Wing commander, and Maj. Christian Litscher, 436th Airlift Wing chief of exercises, conduct a preparation briefing prior to the start of the Liberty Eagle Readiness Exercise at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, July 9, 2022. Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 512th AW and active-duty Airmen from the 436th AW participated together in a simulated deployment to a forward operating base, located on Dover AFB, July 11-15, 2022. The purpose of this exercise was to validate both wings' ability to generate, employ and sustain airpower across the world in a contested and degraded operational environment.
