Robert Hughes, the Assistant Adjutant General of the Army, New Jersey National Guard, reviews entries for the 902nd Field Feed Platoon’s annual Golden Spoon Competition during the eXportable Combat Training Capability exercise, July 25, 2022, at Ft. Drum, N. Y. The Golden Spoon challenges Army Culinary Specialists to create recipes from ingredients available in MREs. More than 2,500 Soldiers are participating in the training event, which enables brigade combat teams to achieve the trained platoon readiness necessary to deploy, fight, and win. (U. S.
