NORFOLK, Va. (Jul. 9, 2022) Rear Admiral Marc Miguez, commander, Carrier Strike Group Two, center left, Vice Adm. James Kilby, deputy commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, center, Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Rear Adm. Shukaku Komuta, commander, Japan Training Squadron JMSDF, center right, and Ambassador Tamaki Tsukada, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, and their staffs pose for a group photo aboard the JMSDF training ship JS Kashima (TV-3508).
