NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (Apr. 8, 2022) - Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Caitlyn Fetter, a Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay Military Working Dog (MWD) handler, and MWD Nitro, search for explosives during an explosive detection training evolution at NSA Souda Bay, Crete, Apr. 8, 2022. During explosive detection training, MWDs and their handlers search through areas to successfully detect 10 different types of explosives. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed and when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
