Staff Sgt. James Wileman, Instructor from Northern Warfare Training Center, teaches 11th Airborne Division Soldiers lessons on mountain safety during Basic Military Mountaineering Course 8 July at Black Rapids Training Site. The purpose of the 14-day course is to train Soldiers on how to maneuver through mountainous terrain, and then go back to their units and provide the techniques and procedures to get across the mountainous terrain of Alaska.
