An F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 179th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia takes off for a night air refueling training flight with the Egyptian Air Force at Cairo West Air Base on June 30, 2022 as part of exercise Agile Phoenix. The U.S. Air Force and Egyptian military executed the combined training event focused on increasing Agile Combat Readiness, as well as Offensive and Defensive counter air capability and interoperability. Approximately 100 U.S. service members participated in this training event alongside the Egyptian armed forces demonstrating resolute partnerships and interoperability.
