Department of the Air Force civic leaders depart a U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook assigned to the B Company “Sugar Bears” 1-52 Aviation Battalion, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, after landing at Anderson Airfield, Alaska, June 23, 2022. The civic leaders participated in a DAF civic leader tour where they visited multiple locations in Alaska, to include Clear Space Force Station, which serves as home to Arctic Airmen and Guardians assigned to the 13th and 213th Space Warning Squadrons, providing 24/7 missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness.
