Naval Sustainment System - Shipyards, also known as NSS-SY, is the Navy’s overarching initiative to drive transformational reduction in availability duration for the Navy’s nuclear-powered warships. It is designed to streamline processes, improve internal coordination, and eliminate barriers between mechanics and their work.
