    This historic photo shows one of the ranges at what is now known as the Aerospace Vehicle Survivability Facility (AVSF). The AVSF is responsible for developing and executing aircraft Title 10 Live Fire Test and Evaluation programs as well as research, development, test and evaluation in addition to high-fidelity modeling and simulation of aerospace vehicle combat survivability to evaluate and enhance system performance to current and future weapon systems under operationally-realistic conditions. The AVSF is operated by the Aerospace Survivability and Safety Office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This office is part of the 704th Test Group at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.
