(220526-N-OI810-0527) KEY WEST, Florida (May 26, 2022) Steelworker 1st Class Zachary Styer, from Memphis, Tennessee, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 14, uses a demolition hammer to break up a damaged section of runway at Boca Chica Field, Naval Air Station Key West (NASKW), May 26, 2022. NMCB-14 teamed up with NASKW Public Works and NASKW Air Operations Department to complete the needed airfield damage repair. Seabees assigned to NMCB-14 travelled to NASKW to perform on-site training and assist with facility and compound maintenance. NMCB-14 provides advance base construction, battle damage repair, contingency engineering, humanitarian assistance and disaster recovery support to our fleet and unified commanders.
