Stephen Ansuini, executive officer Naval Base Guam, sits in the cockpit of a MH-60S attached to the Golden Falcons of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, during a tour of the flight deck of the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). During their time aboard Ansuini and his son toured the hangar bay, flight deck, bridge and flight deck control. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
