U.S. Army systems operators from the 11th Corps Signal Brigade, based out of Fort Hood, Texas, and the 86th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, based out of Fort Bliss, Texas, point out on a map to plan the next location they will go to on Fort Hood, Texas, June 23, 2022. The soldiers participated in a land navigation event during the III Armored Corps Best Squad Competition 2022, where they must simulate a field environment and use military knowledge to pass each event. The III Armored Corps pulled only the best from across its divisions and separate brigades to compete in this year’s inaugural competition. The best squad goes on to compete at the U.S. Army Forces Command competition at Fort hood in August. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc. Myenn G. LaMotta)
