CARIBBEAN SEA (June 14, 2022) Sailors assigned to the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Billings (LCS 15) depart the French patrol vessel La Résolue (P734) in an 11-meter rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) after providing medical and damage control support during a simulated casualty as part of a Rescue and Assistance drill during exercise Caraibes 2022, June 14, 2022. Caraibes 2022 is a French led, combined and joint training exercise in the Caribbean involving naval, air and land assets. This multi-national exercise aims to promote cooperation among regional forces and their collective ability to successfully provide humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HADR) in response to a natural disaster.
