YOKOHAMA, Japan (June 16, 2022) — Capt. Rich Jarrett, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), meets and speaks with Yuji Kuroiwa, governor of Kanagawa Prefecture, during Jarrett’s courtesy call prior to his departure from Yokosuka for his next duty station. Kuroiwa presented Jarrett with a letter of appreciation expressing his gratitude and appreciation for his contribution to Kanagawa Prefecture during his duty, and the two exchanged gifts. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
