YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 16, 2022) — Capt. Rich Jarrett, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), meets and speaks with Col. Osamu Fujiwara, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) Eastern Army Combined Brigade Commander onboard JGSDF Camp Takemiya, during his courtesy call prior to Jarrett’s departure from Yokosuka for his next duty station. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
