YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 16, 2022) — Capt. Rich Jarrett, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), enjoys a Japanese traditional drum performance during his courtesy call to Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) 31st Infantry Regiment onboard JGSDF Camp Takemiya. He met and spoke with Col. Kyouya Kawamura, the Regiment’s Commander, prior to Jarrett’s departure from Yokosuka for his next duty station. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
