U.S. Army Lt. Col. Vic Pirak, Bersama Warrior 2022 C-3 Current Operations Planner, receives an award from the Malaysian C-3 lead who also serves with the Malaysian Army’s 19th Battalion Royal Malay Regiment (Mechanized) on June 16, 2022. The wooden crest award was engraved with the motto, “Tegak Teguh Gagah Perkasa,” which translates from Malay to English as, “To Stand Firm and Gallant.” Bersama Warrior is an annual joint and bilateral exercise sponsored by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and hosted by the Malaysian Armed Forces.
