Sailors from the Navy Operational Support Center Harrisburg volunteered to clean a World War II-era gun during a recent drill weekend. The 1942, 5-inch slide, Mark 24 resides on the east end of Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg and was in significant need of a facelift.
