220615-N-YQ181-1043 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 15, 2022) Machinery Repairman 2nd Class Leadell Taylor, from Riverside, California, adjusts the level of a milling machine in order to shape ancillary equipment in the machine shop aboard the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan’s machine shop team is able to fabricate, manufacture, and repair mission critical tools and parts while underway. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
