Backdropped by the blackness of space, this nadir view of the Pirs Docking Compartment DC1 module, the FGB/ Zarya module and the P6 truss in the background was photographed during the flyaround by the Space Shuttle Discovery following the undocking of the two spacecraft. Discovery pulled away from the complex at 2:24 a.m. CDT on August 6, 2005.
