PHILIPPINE SEA (June 12, 2022) — Sailors aboard Lewis B. Puller-class expeditionary mobile base USS Miguel Keith (ESB 5) conduct training, using simulated mine shapes, support from the “Mad Foxes” of Patrol Squadron 5, assigned to Task Force 72, while underway in the Philippine Sea. USS Miguel Keith is operating as the Destroyer Squadron 7 command ship in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners, serving as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
