One member of the Armed Forces of BiH EOD uses a Broco Ultrathermic Cutting Rod to finish melting through a heavy steel door, while another prepares to push the door backward at Rajlovac training grounds, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, March 22, 2022. High heat and debris requires the use of special goggles and gloves. Bosnia and Herzegovina State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) investigators and operators, Republika Srpska's Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (RS CAJ), Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina EOD, Brcko District Special Police Unit (JSP), and Federal Ministry of Interior Special Service Unit (FMUP SSU) each used the cutting rod during the weeklong breaching exercise with U.S. Army Special Forces, which provided new training opportunities, tools, and practical exercises to better enhance readiness and effectiveness with partner forces.
