A U.S. Air Force aircrew flight equipment Airman assigned to the 347th Operations Support Squadron replaces rubber gaskets on a combat tactical aid flotation (CTAF) device at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, May 23, 2022. The new CTAFs will be attached to aviation body armor vests as aircrew wear and deploy it, which will provide the same level of protection as the current life-preserver units but with fewer components.
