MAYPORT, Fla. -- (June 9, 2022) – Cmdr. Lee Bush, off going Secretary of the Inter-American Naval Telecommunications Network (IANTN), signs orders as he is relieved by Cmdr. Craig McLemore during a turnover ceremony at U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet headquarters, June 9, 2022. Established in 1962, IANTN now includes 19 countries that maintain a permanent communication link among naval authorities of the Americas. U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet hosts the multinational IANTN staff, which oversees IANTN detachments and operations centers in 18 partner nations in the Caribbean, Central and South America. U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet is the trusted maritime partner for Caribbean, Central and South America maritime forces leading to improved unity, security and stability.
