Solheim and McColskey completed the lap before starting the Murph Challenge to honor service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation. Collin is the son of Sgt. 1st Class Shawn P. McCloskey, 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), who was killed in action Sept. 16, 2009. The senior McColskey and Solheim were close friends and Solheim remains a presence in the Family. “He told me good job and how proud my dad would be of me,” said Collin McColskey.
