Ray, former AFGSC commander, during his Order of the Sword ceremony at Sam’s Hotel and Casino, Shreveport, Louisiana, May 11, 2022. The ceremonial presentation was adopted from the Royal Order of the Sword and passed to the United States during the Revolutionary War.
