Air Force Brig. Gen. Jeffrey L. The names of 13 Soldiers were added to the Kentucky National Guard Memorial at Boone National Guard Center this year, bringing the total number of fallen Airmen and Soldiers to 286. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of a C-130 Hercules plane crash in Evansville, Ind., that claimed the lives of five aircrew members from the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Airlift Wing.
