U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Dana Brown, Joint Task Force-Bravo Medical Element pharmacy technician, provides medicine to a patient May 19, 2022, in Orange Walk, Belize, during a joint medical outreach. The Global Health Engagement, part of the U.S. Southern Command exercise Tradewinds 2022, included the Joint Task Force-Bravo Medical Element, Air Forces Southern, the Belize Ministry of Health, the Belize Ministry of Education, and the Belize Defence Forces showcasing the importance of partnerships across countries as well as branches of the military. The medical team treated more than 1,100 patients at the Carmelita and the Santa Martha Government Schools during the four-day event, providing preventative medicine, triage, general doctors, dental, pediatricians, optometry and pharmacy care.
