Maj. Gen. David Mikolaities, New Hampshire adjutant general, poses with retired New Hampshire National Guard general officers following a Heritage Room dedication ceremony held at the state military reservation in Concord on May 20, 2022. The room was dedicated in memory of Plymouth, New Hampshire, native and Medal of Honor recipient, Capt. Harl Pease Jr., a pilot who was killed during World War II. Pease's relatives in attendance were acknowledged for a collection of military artifacts donated for permanent display. Items included Pease's painted portrait, an encased American flag, medals and ribbons, and a flight bag inscribed with his handwritten name and initials. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt.
