Iraqi Air Force Staff Maj. Gen. Abbas Fadel Damer, the commander of Al Asad Air Base, Lt. Col. Nathan Adkins, commander of Coalition forces on Al Asad Air Base, Maj. Ahmed Sabri Al-Zahrra, a medical officer at Ain Al Asad Medical Center, and Maj. Heather Real, the 208th Area Support Medical Company commander, finish inspecting two ambulances for divestment to the Ain Al Asad Medical Center on May 12, 2022. The ambulances were divested as part of the U.S.-funded Counter-ISIS Train and Equip Fund program that is administered by Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve. The CTEF program builds partner capabilities by providing resources to Iraqi forces to assist and enable their continued efforts to defeat Daesh and protect stability in the region.
