During a recent Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) tour supporting The Honorable Nickolas H. Guertin, Director, Operational Test and Evaluation Office of the Secretary of Defense, OICC China Lake's Program Director Curtis Davis provided a program overview and status of the $2.7 billion earthquake recovery program. Cmdr. Hardy highlighted the unique features of individual projects and Mr. Davis spoke towards the restoration of capabilities aboard Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in Ridgecrest, CA that were diminished after a pair of earthquakes in July 2019.
