Bush (CVN 77) Command Master Chief Ron Glass, presents a gift and a letter from Doro Bush Koch, the ship’s sponsor and daughter of president George H.W. Bush, to Capt. Robert Aguilar during a change of command ceremony aboard the the ship May 19, 2022. During the ceremony, Rear Adm. Dennis Velez relieved Cheeseman, as Commander, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 10. George H.W. Bush provides the national command authority flexible, tailorable war fighting capability as the flagship of the carrier strike group which maintains maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
