Ross, a traffic controlman with Beach Master Unit 2, U.S. 2nd Fleet, Fleet Forces Command directs U.S. Marine Corps heavy equipment operators with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, 2d Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force during a Landing Craft Utility (LCU) loading and unloading exercise (LOADEX) at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia, May 19, 2022. LOADEX allows new heavy equipment operators to apply classroom instruction to a real-world training environment.
