U.S. Marines with 1st explosive ordinance disposal (EOD) Company, 1st Marine Logistics Group, receive traditional Timorese tais as a token of gratitude and comradery for working with the Timor-Leste National Police (PNTL) EOD team during the Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) training program in Dili, Timor-Leste, May 15, 2022. The rotation of the HMA program to Timor-Leste advances the U.S. and PNTL relationship, furthering opportunities for cultural exchange, and enhancing our mutual skills in support of humanitarian assistance and professional skills development.
