The 36th Sustainment Brigade was executing the first ever fly-away TAC package in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. This movement supports the theater optimization strategic plan of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, to provide ability of command and control in a tactical environment for coalition forces. The fly-away kit included a deployable rapid assembly shelter, satellite transportable terminal and 10k generator, all transported by a series of multi-purpose tactical wheeled vehicles.
