The soccer match was an exhibition match hosted by a Bulgarian team composed of referees from the Yambol Soccer Union against the NSTA Strikers, a team composed of U.S. Army Soldiers stationed at Novo Selo Training Area. The U.S. is honored to participate in friendly competition and cultural events that strengthens ties with Bulgaria, a steadfast and gracious host to U.S. Army Soldiers, and to continue our long-term relationship with this strategic ally.
