U.S. Department of Defense Acting Principal Director of Europe and NATO Policy, Mandi Tuttle, coins U.S. Army soldiers assigned to Second Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania, on May 11, 2022. 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment is among other units assigned to V Corps, America's forward deployed corps in Europe that works alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces; executes joint, bilateral and multinational training exercises; and provides command and control for rotational and assigned units in the European theater.
